Description: Holbeck Ghyll was built in the early days of the 19th century and has a prime position overlooking Lake Windermere and the Langdale Fells. Today, its outstanding award winning reputation is due to proprietors, David and Patricia Nicholson. The majority of bedrooms are large and have spectacular lake views. All are refurbished to a very high standard and include decanters of sherry, fresh flowers, fluffy bathrobes and more. There are 6 rooms in the Lodge and houses in the grounds include Lowtherwood, Madison House and the Miss Potter Suite.
