Description
Built about 1130 The Manor is one of the oldest continuously inhabited houses in the country. Here the author Lucy Boston based her Green Knowe books and readers feel they are walking into the books. In the winter Lucy Boston sewed exquisite patchworks. They form the only collection of this callibre worldwide, which can be seen in the house where they were made. The 3 1/2 acre garden, bordered by the river Great Ouse, contains topiary, old roses and mixed scented herbaceous borders of year-round interest.
