Opening times

The grounds, ruins, porch and crypt open on 30 days between April and October. The whole property including inside will be open on 8 days of the year. Check Landmark Trust website for details. Also open by appointment on changeovers.

Description

Leased to the Landmark Trust by Sussex Archaeological Society. Founded by the Benedictines in the 11th century, the surviving much altered buildings date largely from the 14th century. Managed and maintained by the Landmark Trust, a building preservation charity which lets buildings for self-catering holidays.
