A spectacular and extensive collection of Rhododendrons and Azaleas characterises this very unusual garden in North Norfolk. The Japanese Water Gardens, in woodland setting, extend over five acres giving an unbroken display of Azalea Mollis interspersed with Acers, Metasequoia Glyptostroboides and a lovely mature Cedar of Lebanon. Created late 1920s, the main garden not only contains a wide variety of species Rhododendrons and Azaleas but many interesting ornamental trees and shrubs, late daffodils and bluebells. The herbaceous borders, expansive lawns and magnificent yew hedges add further interest. Picnic area, home made teas, this is one not to be missed.
