Description

Newby Hall is one of England's finest Adam houses, an exceptional example of 18th century interior decoration, its superb conents include a rare set of Gobelins Tapestries, a renowned gallery of classical Roman statuary and some of Chippendale's finest furniture. The 25 acres of award-winning Gardens comprise stunning herbaceous borders flanked by numerous compartmented gardens, such as the Rose and Autumn Gardens. Truly a "garden for all season", the National Collection of CORNUS (dogwoods) is also held at here. Other attractions include an exciting Children's Adventure Garden, Miniature Railway, Woodland Discovery Walk, Contemporary Sculpture Park, Restaurant, Shop and Plant Centre.
