Description
Shrewsbury Museum & Art Gallery (Rowley's House) A16th century timber-framed warehouse and adjoining 17th century brick mansion, featuring archaeology (including important collections from Roman Wroxeter), geology, costume, Shropshire ceramics, local history and some special exhibitions. From December 2008 the building will be the temporary home of the Shrewsbury Visitor Information Centre, so start your exploration of the historic town (over 400 listed buildings) and county from here.
