Description
One of the finest small art galleries in the world, housing an outstanding permanent collection of Old Master and modern paintings, drawings and sculpture including masterpieces by Bellini, Rubens, Poussin, Murillo, Gainsborough, Rossetti, Whistler, Monet, Degas and Magritte. There is also a regular programme of temporary exhibitions showcasing major works in the collection. Events include lectures, gallery talks, study days, children's holiday workshops and an annual Open Day (1st June 2002).
